Youngest CEO ready to take on fake drug mafia
LUCKNOW: Medicine mafia involved in the sale of fake drugs and schoolchildren who habitually bunk classes are in for trouble if this 23-year-old has his way. And, he has already proved that he specialises in having his way.
From the age of 14, when he was recognised as the worlds youngest certified professional web-developer through his project coolhindustan.com, Suhas Gopinath, CEO and president of Globals Inc, carries with aplomb the tag of the worlds youngest CEO.

Hailing from a middle class family of Bangalore, where his father was a defence scientist, Suhas set up Globals Inc, in 2000 at San Jose, California as he was not allowed to set up a company in India due to his age. From then Globals Inc has grown as a multinational IT consulting company with representation in over 11 countries.
So, when he plans a tie-up with pharmaceutical companies to check the rising menace of medicine mafia, he seriously means business.
I really want to focus on R&D now and offer a software solution for the education and pharmaceutical sectors, Suhas said, adding that the mafia in the pharmaceutical sector had spread its tentacles everywhere.
To counter that, he said, the company has come up with a software solution that would warn the retailers if a particular drug is fake.
